DC Comics: Superman Ordine di Lettura (2a parte)

All'inizio degli anni '90 la DC Comics decise di far morire il più grande eroe che la Terra avesse mai avuto. La battaglia durò per parecchi numeri che Play Press raccolse in un volume unico che titolava "La Morte di Superman". In questa storia viene presentato per la prima volta Doomsday, essere sconosciuto proveniente non si sa da dove, che lascia una scia di sangue dove passa. Nulla può la Justice League of America e nulla può il suo membro più rappresentativo che in uno scontro all'ultimo sangue dona la sua vita per fermare quel mostro.
Da qui il via alla pubblicazione italiana dell'Uomo d'Acciaio che sotto il marchio Play Press durerà per qualche serie (la prima di 125 numeri, la seconda di 25, una terza in 28 TP per poi passare sul mensile Superman Magazine durato 8 numeri). Nel frattempo inizia a pubblicare anche il periodo "Post Crisis" nella collana "Superman Classic" conclusa in 43 numeri. Nei primi anni del 2000 i diritti DC Comics passano in mano a Planeta deAgostini la quale ancora oggi continua la pubblicazione regolare dell'avvenutre del primo supereroe che il mondo ha conosciuto.
